Tessa Koller was born and raised in the Chicago area. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from one of the most prestigious art schools in the country, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Since college, her writing has been published in several national journals including Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global, Lifehack.org, The Mighty, and her work has also been seen in Yahoo!, and HuffPost. She was personally invited by Arianna Huffington herself to write for Thrive Global and has contributed hundreds of articles to the science-based journal. In 2010, Tessa began traveling internationally and speaking publicly at medical conferences. An advocate and mentor, her work has been recognized globally as an activist with a triumphant story herself. From the time she was young, she has been a writer of fiction and non-fiction and was born to be an author.
